I’ve already tried to use fishy-smelling canned food so they will come to eat and I can pet them. But, when I try to pick them up, they run or scratch me. I need to speed this up. They’re about 12 weeks old and I need to give them away before THEY start having kittens themselves. No one will take a wild kitten.

You should take them in your house and spend lots of time petting them and everything, if that doesn’t work you should call an animal control.

start out with lots of tuna and get it closer and closer to you over a couple of days then put it in your lap sitting down indian style or another position comfortably let them feed and get to trust you then over the next few days slowly start to pet them gently while they feed this is what i did with some wild kittens just recently and i can now hold them and have even found them good homes

put down food next to you and wait for them to come near. they will eventually get used to you.
the next step is them walking on you. you cannot make them do this they will evenyually trust you.
then you can try and pick them up.
they will not start haveing kittens of their own until they are at least one (this is rare) more likely two.

first of all if they are wild you should not be trying to give them away and if you do go that route you need to let people kow that they are wild and have not had their shots. you yourself should not be trying to pick them up without protective garments on because if they have a disease and scratch you you can be in big trouble health wise. since they are wild you should simply be trying to get them away from you house if they are bothering you by staying there. i would suggest that if you can get them out and into a cat carrier then you can take them to the spca and they have to take them or you can get them in the carrier and set them free out side of your property. if you do want to give them away or sell them obviously you have to get them first so you could if you want take them to the vet and get their shots. but unless you want to keep them or give them to a “good” home i wouldn’t suggest feeding them because then they will be hanging around your house forever because they know that there is food there.

what ur gonna have to do is just leave them alone, coz being 12 weeks already it would b hard to tame them. the’ll find a way serviving w/ out you helpin them

You may be a little to late to ‘domesticate’ them. And I seriously doubt you can entice them into the house. Best bet is to have someone live trap them for you and take it from there. You will have to be very patient though. It can take a wild cat a long time to “come around”.
My stepdad has been feeding feral cats for years and to this day they will not let him touch them.

I too had kittens born in my basement and have been trying to get them use to being around people so that they may go to good homes sometime. They are younger then your two kittens, but what I have been doing is feeding them and taking care of them and talking to them in a soathing voice and just giving them lots of love and it seems to be working. They are starting to purr whenever I pet them and are really turing into very affectionate kittens!

Why not cal out the Rspca/ rescue center and tell them you have some wild cats there, they should come over and take them.
